Obtaining the INSEMEX-GANEx Certificate

AVITECH was awarded the INSEMEX-GANEx certificate attesting the company ability to carry out activities according to the Norm NEx 01-06/2007 within implementation of security, fire detection and warning systems.

“The scope of this norm is to set the requirements in order to ensure the best conditions for work processes, protection of life, physical integrity and health of the operators and of other participants in the work processes, and it stipulates the general provisions for design, montage, operation, maintenance and repair activities regarding technical plants operating in potentially explosive atmospheres generated by combustible gases, vapors, fogs and/or dust”, according to the web page of the National R&D Institute for Mining Security and Protection Against Explosion - INSEMEX Petroșani.

This norm is applied for all technical plants intended to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres, during the design, operation and maintenance stages. By obtaining this certificate, AVITECH supplements its expertise in the field of safety, guaranteeing for its clients the certitude of implementing low-current systems in compliance with the requirements of potentially explosive environments.
The National R&D Institute for Mining Security and Protection against Explosion - INSEMEX Petroșani was established in 1949 under the name “The Research Station for Mining Security” as an affiliate of I.C.E.M.I.N. Bucharest. Currently, INSEMEX carries out its activity within 4 research departments, with 10 specialized labs. This institution is the only Romanian organization providing scientific services for the certification of technical plants operating in explosive environments, according to NEx 01-06/2007.
