Support for Autistic Children

The company AVITECH supported the Association of Applied Behavioral Therapy (ATCA) with an interactive ready ultra-short-throw HD video projector from SMART Technologies, installed in the ABA Academy Center of the association. Having an integrated SMART Notebook software, this video projector will be a valuable tool for the association therapists in their intervention programs for children with autistic disorders.

The well over 7000 educational resources available with this software, the interactivity provided by it, the possibility of using an array of multimedia formats will contribute to a better adaptation of the therapy to the special needs of the children. Moreover, two users can use simultaneously the work surface using the dual touch technology, allowing writing with the finger and with the included marker.
“Our therapists are always searching for solutions to attract children during therapy hours or within the workshops organized by us. From now on, the activities at the ATCA centers will be more captivating due to the video projector donated by AVITECH o our association. We express our gratitude for their care toward these children with autistic disorders”, declared psychologist Ancuța Dumitrescu, President of the Association.
Established in 2008, the Association of Applied Behavioral Therapy was soon established as professional standard in Romania for its services of training ABA therapists and due to its outstanding results achieved within the intervention programs for children with autistic disorders. Since 2015, ATCA is accredited as provider of continuing education services (ACE provider type 2) by BACB – the only institution in the world for the accreditation of ABA practitioners. About 100 children are beneficiaries of the Association programs.
