Job Description
We are seeking a Digital Signage Systems Engineer to join our team in Bucharest - Ilfov, with partial remote work. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in professional digital display systems and be eager to contribute to large-scale projects with our Extra Low Voltage Systems Division. The primary objectives will be designing, tendering, and promoting professional Digital Signage systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and tender professional digital display systems for advertising, information, notification, and communication including Digital Signage/Smart Signage, FIDS (Flight Information Display System), and PIS (Real-Time Passenger Information System).
- Identify the solution to be implemented.
- Ensure the design of digital signage systems across all project phases: SF, DALI, DTAC, PTh, DDE.
- Select the most suitable brand and equipment for the client’s needs.
- Prepare client offers.
- Actively promote AVITECH’s digital signage solutions by providing specialized technical support to the sales team.
- Participate in the installation, configuration, and programming of systems, offering technical support to the execution team.
- Engage in technical discussions and coordination meetings on-site.
- Supervise AVITECH’s installers and subcontractors on-site when necessary.
- Prepare activity reports in accordance with departmental internal documentation.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills by participating in training sessions organized by AVITECH or its technology partners.
Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience
- Higher education in electrical engineering.
- Advanced knowledge in video display technologies, including LCD, LED, digital signage, advertising displays, communication, and Digital Signage/Smart Signage systems, both hardware and software, as well as A/V architectures.
- Solid understanding of IT networking and networked media platforms.
- Proficient in digital signage content management (CMS) software.
- Advanced skills in electrical installations design and AutoCAD.
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, including design, tendering, installation, and configuration of LCD & LED indoor and outdoor video displays, Digital Signage, Smart Signage, FIDS, and PIS systems.
