AVITECH completed the low voltage installations for the EXPO Business Park project in the first part of 2020. The project involved the development of 3 office buildings with a net leasable area of 38,000 square meters and a two-level underground parking lot.

AVITECH Solutions
With 25 years of experience in installing and integrating various Low Voltage systems for buildings and a wide range of solutions available, AVITECH was not constrained by the use of any specific technology. We chose a mix of high-quality systems with proven reliability for essential infrastructure and systems with an excellent price/performance ratio to stay within the allocated budgets.
To enhance security for a significant project, AVITECH efficiently implemented various advanced technological systems, focusing on equipment specific to each system.
Firstly, the fire detection systems from Schrack Seconet, chosen for their robustness and reliability, consisted of a network of 6 interconnected panels and over 5,100 components. This ecosystem includes 65 loops, 4,569 smoke and heat detectors, 11 duct detectors for ventilation systems, 246 manual alarm buttons, and 266 sirens, all installed and configured by AVITECH to ensure optimal fire protection.
The Access Control and Detectare Efracție, AVITECH implemented a system using 6 UTC panels that manage HID readers and Dormakaba rapid automatic gates, ensuring efficient and secure access control. Also integrated was a license plate recognition (LPR) solution from Metrici for vehicle access to the project's parking area, complemented by Aiphone intercoms for visitors and Came barriers, contributing to an advanced perimeter protection system .
For Video Surveillance, AVITECH opted for Hikvision cameras, known for their high image quality and reliability, totaling 115 units. These are supported by Quognify video management software (VMS) and Fujitsu IT infrastructure, providing a comprehensive solution for high-security video monitoring. NEC video display solutions for the control room ensure centralized and efficient viewing of all video feeds.
The implemented Intercom System contributes to communication security, with Dahua providing solutions for 14 elevators and Aiphone ensuring connectivity between 13 exterior stations and 5 interior stations, all part of the implementation by AVITECH.
In the field of Building Management System (BMS) Automation , AVITECH implemented the Honeywell system, a key equipment for monitoring and controlling the operational aspects of the building’s technical installations, from lighting and ventilation to security systems.
Finally, the IT Infrastructure & Communications, essential for supporting the operation of all security and communication systems, relies on solutions from Fujitsu, Fortinet, and R&M, selected for their performance and reliability. All these components were integrated and commissioned by AVITECH, demonstrating the company’s expertise in implementing complex security solutions.

For the EXPO Business Park project, AVITECH provided the full range of services:
- Design of all low voltage electrical installations
- Procurement and delivery of materials, accessories, and necessary equipment
- Installation of equipment with in-house personnel and subcontracted partners for cabling work
- Commissioning of the contracted systems
- Special attention was given to integrating building systems with tenant systems for fire protection, vehicle and pedestrian access, and BMS automation

Conclusion
Following the completion of the project, the EXPO Business Park buildings achieved the prestigious BREEAM OUTSTANDING environmental certification, becoming the first office building development in Romania to receive this title. The systems selected and integrated by AVITECH significantly contributed to increasing investment value, improving tenant comfort and security, facilitating the management of low voltage systems, and ensuring cost-effective building operations.
