Thevideo surveillance systemplay a crucial role in a sports arena. In compliance with UEFA regulations, these systems ensure high-quality video images, with resolutions up to 4K. The systems are capable of collecting a large amount of information, interpreting it directly at the source, and storing it at high-security standards. Besides the video surveillance systems—covering both the stands and the stadium's premises and access routes—AVITECH also completed the CCTV infrastructure.
To enhance safety and reduce the escalation of potential incidents in the stands, cameras with 1080 Full HD varifocal resolution (fixed dome/bullet dome), plus 8 Full HD PTZ cameras with 30x optical zoom, were used. The system is centralized in a Bosch management and recording solution, comprising a server with BMS Professional Plus licenses and DIVAR IP600 recording units, with 3 graphical stations, images displayed on 10 monitors of 43 inches.
Regarding access control and efficient pedestrian traffic management within the sports complex, AVITECH installed full high double-directional turnstiles, with bars positioned at 120° and vertical stainless steel rotors. In the VIP area, rapid gate or swinging gate turnstile assemblies with optical sensors and retractable glass panels were installed. The management of ticket issuance and subscription processing involved integrating a ticketing system (with barcode reading terminals) and related equipment (POS cashier station with touchscreen monitor, printer, scanner, server, etc.). These will streamline traffic and maintain a high level of control and security in crowded areas. The cashier equipment comes from Aures Sango, while a professional Fujitsu solution was implemented for the ticketing system servers.

The new Rapid – Giulești stadium benefits from the excellent clarity of a modern and high-quality sound systemThe two LED scoreboards A1699 (5.12 x 2.88 m, 16 mm pixel pitch, each consisting of 15 cabinets 1280×960 mm, with a native resolution of 320×180 pixels and a brightness of 10,000 cd/m²) are positioned above each stand. The sound system includes Electrovoice full-range EVH-1152D speakers, which can reach a sensitivity level of 106 dB at the stands, and Dynacord amplifiers. Certified EN54-24, the acoustic enclosures have various dispersion angles (from 40×30 to 90×90) for optimal coverage of the stadium areas and even sound distribution. The audio management system in the technical room includes: a Yamaha digital mixer, 2 audio signal sources, 2 microphones, a player, and a Tascam recorder, plus 2 gooseneck microphones with a base and button, and thick cabling to avoid losses. The sound equipment was implemented by ELTEK Multimedia, a member of the AVITECH Group.

ThePA/VA systems (Public Address and Voice Alarm) solutions implemented guarantee a high level of safety at the stadium. For the success of an international conference with real-time participation, the stadium is equipped with two conference and simultaneous translation systems. Additionally, the media area will feature the most modern transmission facilities.
