For a shopping center that includes a supermarket and an underground parking lot, choosing a fire protection system is critically important due to the high volume of people passing through. AVITECH implemented Esser solutions such as: thermomax detectors, optical smoke detectors, multi-criteria detectors, multisensor detectors, socket detectors, Esserbus transponders, Esserbus GT modules, and interior alarms. Similar solutions were implemented for the hypermarket within the shopping center (with independent loops connected to the central panel of the shopping center), as well as in the 2500-space parking area across levels -1, -2, and -3.
Large centers require an adequate intercom system for staff access to authorized areas and additional security. The chosen solution was Aiphone equipment (one central unit, 8 master stations, and 24 door stations, along with color video stations), known for their quality and reliability.
Regarding access control, Paxton solutions are designed to facilitate management of any building type. The Net2 system (an advanced PC-based access control solution) installed here ensures that the entire shopping center operates safely. The software is simple and intuitive and comes with a range of features that go beyond basic door locking or unlocking.
The security and safety solutions provided by AVITECH enhance the quality of security for shopping centers by integrating intrusion detectionsystems, facilitating information management so users are informed in real-time about alarm activations. The modular concept offers installers features that make expansion, installation, and maintenance quick and convenient. For a high level of security, an EVO system was implemented, which can be expanded up to 192 zones with 8 partitions. The intrusion detection system can also connect to the tenants' anti-intrusion systems.
From shopping centers to public institutions or airports, people counting systems provide essential information for informed decision-making by analyzing visitor trends and identifying peak times. At ParkLake Shopping Center, AVITECH ensured the installation, configuration, and commissioning of such an Axis system, ultra-compact, with a fixed indoor wall or ceiling mount kit, resistant to dust and shocks. With a discreet design, the system analyzes data from a predefined perimeter for real-time counting, especially useful in areas with revolving doors or unconventional entries.
For clear visibility, good viewing angles in any direction, and accurate recording, a fixed camera system was implemented for both indoor and outdoor areas. The Axis network video solution with H.264 meets various requirements, offering real-time video display as well as HDTV 1080 resolution video recording.
ParkLake Shopping Center was intended from the beginning to be more than just a shopping center. It was designed as a community hub, with relaxation areas aiming to create a pleasant environment. In such an environment, the sound system plays a key role in creating an atmosphere that meets customer needs and extends their time spent there.
For the ground floor and the two upper levels, AVITECH implemented ATEÏS equipment, including ceiling speakers, wall-mounted speakers, and horn-type speakers. The second floor also benefited from PA/VA systems, including an address console with a color touch display and two wall-mounted consoles for 8 zones.
The range of security systems meets current architectural requirements, which require IP and/or fiber optic networks to accommodate even the most complex designs. The equipment addresses public address and voice alarm needs with specific attributes for installation in large projects.
