Job Description
We are looking for a Security Systems Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Bucharest-Ilfov, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, or Satu Mare. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge in the field and a desire to participate in large-scale projects alongside our Maintenance and Technical Support colleagues. The primary objectives will be the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security and safety systems at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission security and safety systems (video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection, perimeter security, access control, time and attendance, intercom, integrated systems).
- Perform maintenance and service activities at customer sites for security and safety systems (cleaning, repairs, functionality testing, commissioning, etc.).
- Carry out preventive and corrective interventions.
- Perform technical operations for system expansion (cabling, connection, etc.).
- Configure application software and promptly address incident resolution.
- Prepare maintenance reports and records for the interventions performed.
- Provide technical support, analyze the causes of malfunctions, and propose a list of spare parts, equipment, and consumables required.
- Collaborate with the Service Dispatch team to resolve and close requests.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a security systems engineer.
- Knowledge of security and safety equipment.
- ARTS certification or equivalent.
- Technical studies or prior qualification courses.
- Certifications from manufacturers such as Bosch, Honeywell, Esser, Siemens, Schrack, UTC, Paradox, DSC, etc., are a major advantage in determining salary.
- Knowledge of structured cabling and networking.
- Driving license.
- Availability for planned work with daily routes and suitability for working at heights.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Responsible, orderly, and organized person.
