Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Electrical Installations with a focus on Low Current Systems to join our team on-site in Bucharest-Ilfov, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, or Zalău. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge in the field and a desire to participate in large-scale projects alongside our colleagues in the Installation Works Execution Division. The main objective is to ensure the smooth coordination of the execution of Security Systems, Fire Safety, BMS Automation, IT Infrastructure, and Communications.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site installations of low-current electrical systems, including security systems, access control, parking systems, gas and fire detection systems, building automation (BMS), IT infrastructure, and communications, whether as a subcontractor or directly at clients' sites.
- Actively participate in technical discussions and coordination meetings on-site.
- Prepare detailed work schedules and ensure project completion on or before deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, track execution costs, and manage contract adjustments.
- Ensure that projects are always allocated the necessary material and human resources for smooth operations.
- Identify potential issues in project execution early on and seek technical, commercial, or legal advice within the company.
- Actively monitor project progress to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise AVITECH subcontractors on-site when necessary.
- Work closely with the company's technical and operational departments.
- Prepare activity reports in accordance with the department's internal working documents.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills by participating in training sessions organized by AVITECH or its technology partners.
Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Installations.
- Solid knowledge of low and high-current electrical installations.
- Advanced knowledge in the commissioning of security systems, fire protection, BMS, IT infrastructure (Honeywell / Siemens / Schneider / Bosch / Schrack / Axis / Milestone / Genetec) is a major advantage and will be compensated accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations (security systems, fire protection installations, electrical installations).
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- 3-5 years of experience in coordinating complex low-current electrical installation projects, integrated security systems, building automation, IT infrastructure, and communications.
